Media Feeding Method: Roll-1, Roll-2, or Sheet
If you have already loaded the media into your cutter (Vinyl Express Q-Series; Graphtec CE and FC Series), the MEDIA TYPE menu appears. Select the media type to suit the loaded media. Check that the media stopper is unlocked and then select a media type on the media set setting screen.
Select ROLL-1 when you have loaded a roll of media and you wish to start cutting or plotting from the front edge of the vinyl. The width and leading edge of the roll media are detected.
Select ROLL-2 when you have loaded a roll of media and you wish to start cutting or plotting from a point beyond the leading edge. The machine will NOT back the material up to the front edge. Only the width of the roll media is detected.
Select SHEET when a cut sheet has been loaded. The machine will detect the width, front & the back edge of the material. (DO NOT choose SHEET if you are using a roll of material.)
