Create a customer account on the SignWarehouse website.

Note your state of operation

Note what state you are operating in.

Ready your certificate no.

Have your sales tax exemption certificate number from your state ready.

Confirm name match

Confirm that the name on your Sales Tax Certificate matches the SignWarehouse account name.

Please note, if your SignWarehouse account name is Joe's Signs & Graphics and your state sales tax certificate says Joseph's Enterprises, your exemption certificate will not be approved. The names must match. This is not our rule; it is your state's rule.

Submit certificates

Let’s start the process

Click on the Submit Certificates button (below) to start the process to generate a tax exemption certificate using your customer information.

Once you submit your exemption document(s) and they are approved you will be able to purchase products exempt from sales tax.

It can take 3-5 business days, or longer, to process and approve your sales tax exemption.
Incorrect or mis-matched information can delay the process.
If your document expires or is determined to be invalid at a later date, we may invoice you to collect back sales tax and reach out to you offline to address any issues.
