How to choose a Graphtec vinyl cutter
CE8000 for shops and desktops. The CE8000 Series is Graphtec's high-speed professional cutter with ARMS 9.0 registration mark sensing for print-and-cut, a data link barcode system, hold-down force control, an expanded contour cutting area, a touch screen with keypad, USB 2.0 and Ethernet ports and an optional wireless LAN module. It comes in three widths: the CE8000-40 15 in desktop cutter, the CE8000-60 24 in cutter with stand and the CE8000-130 50 in cutter with stand. The CE8000-130AKZ is the 50 in window tint version for the automotive aftermarket, with an anti-static kit, media baskets and a specialty tint blade.
FC9000 Pro for production. The FC9000 Pro Series cuts at up to 58 inches per second with 600 grams of force, has a 3.7 in LCD control panel, cuts straight from a USB flash drive without a PC, and ships with the Cutting Master 4 plug-in for Illustrator and Graphtec Pro Studio design software; ARMS 8.0 handles contour cutting. Each comes with stand and media basket: FC9000-75 (30 in), FC9000-100 (42 in), FC9000-140 (54 in) and FC9000-160 (64 in). The optional automatic take-up roller for the FC9000-140 and FC9000-160 supports cuts up to 50 feet.
Good, Better and Best packages. Every CE8000-60 and FC9000 is also sold as a package that adds design software: Good adds Create Space, Better adds LXi Expert and Best adds LXi Master Plus. See the CE8000-60 Best package, the FC9000-75 Good package or the FC9000-160 Best package for the pattern.
FCX flatbeds for packaging and rigid stock. The FCX2000 is the medium to large flatbed for package prototyping and short runs, in 24 x 36, 48 x 36 and 70 x 36 in table sizes with vacuum hold-down (vacuum pump kit required) and a roll-media stocker. The FCX4000 is the cut-and-crease flatbed with offline USB operation, barcode data management, standard crop marks and reversed-color registration marks.

Graphtec CE8000 or FC9000: which one do I need?
The CE8000 is the shop and desktop series: 15, 24 and 50 in widths, ARMS 9.0, a touch screen, USB and Ethernet, and an optional wireless module. The FC9000 Pro is the production series: 30, 42, 54 and 64 in widths, up to 58 inches per second and 600 grams of cutting force, a 3.7 in LCD, USB flash drive cutting without a PC, and an optional automatic take-up reel on the 54 and 64 in models for cuts up to 50 feet.
What is Graphtec ARMS?
ARMS is Graphtec's Advanced Registration Mark Sensing system: the cutter reads printed registration marks and contour-cuts around printed graphics. The CE8000 Series runs ARMS 9.0 and the FC9000 Series runs ARMS 8.0, which supports contour cutting outside the printed registration marks; both series also read a data link barcode with compatible software.
What widths do Graphtec vinyl cutters come in?

What is the difference between the Good, Better and Best cutter packages?
The cutter is the same; the design software changes. The Good Cutter Package adds Create Space, the Better Cutter Package adds LXi Expert and the Best Cutter Package adds LXi Master Plus. Packages are listed for the CE8000-60 and for every FC9000 width.
Can a Graphtec cutter cut window tint?
Yes. The CE8000-130AKZ is the 50 in window tint cutter built for the automotive aftermarket; it includes an anti-static kit, media baskets and a specialty tint blade on top of the standard CE8000 features. The window tint cutters and software collection has the pattern software that goes with it.
What software comes with a Graphtec cutter?
FC9000 cutters ship with the Cutting Master 4 plug-in for Illustrator and Graphtec Pro Studio design software, and cut files saved from either to a USB drive without a PC. CE8000 cutters read the data link barcode system with compatible software. The Good, Better and Best packages add Create Space, LXi Expert or LXi Master Plus.
Is the Graphtec CE7000 still available?
The CE7000 is not listed here. The current series is the CE8000, sold in the same 15, 24 and 50 in widths as the CE8000-40, CE8000-60 and CE8000-130, with ARMS 9.0 and the new control panel, tool holder and push roller design.
