Buy for the widest roll you need to load.

54 or 64 inch?

The PrismJET 54 Gen2 loads 54 in media and prints 53.58 in of it. Wrap films such as ORAJET 3981 ProSlide are stocked in 54 in and 60 in rolls; a 60 in roll needs a 64 in machine. Decals, banners and flat panels are 54 in work.

Print only, and pair it with a plotter from vinyl cutters, or buy one machine that does both from printer/cutters. Outdoor work is laminated; the laminator has to be wider than the print: wide format laminators.

What it costs to run

The printer is the first cost, not the whole cost. The house 54 in machine with the consumables it takes.

Other machines take other ink: Mutoh XpertJet runs MS31 and MS41, Mimaki runs SS21 and SS22, DTF machines run DTF ink and powder. All of it is in ink and toner.
