For production build in a compact size, the Graphtec FC9000-75 30-inch with stand and media basket runs $4,495. Limitation: production-class money for mid-width capability — if the wider version fits your shop, cost per inch is better.

Full-time production sign shop: 50 to 64 inches

A cutter alone does not produce a sign.
