For flat, rigid surfaces such as aluminum, corrugated plastic and painted panels, a permanent calendered film is the standard choice: ORACAL 651 is rated up to 6 years outdoors, and EnduraGLOSS is our house-brand equivalent. For vehicles, rivets and compound curves, step up to ORACAL 751 or 951 cast vinyl.

It depends on the film. ORACAL 651 is rated up to 6 years outdoors on a vertical surface; ORACAL 751 and 951 cast films are rated 8 to 10 years. Horizontal exposure, dark colors and hot climates shorten every rating. Each product page carries the manufacturer's durability figure.

Calendered vinyl such as ORACAL 651 is rolled flat and is the economical choice for flat signs and decals. Cast vinyl such as ORACAL 751 and 951 is poured as a liquid, so it is thinner, conforms to curves and rivets, shrinks less and lasts longer. Yes. ORACAL 651 uses a solvent-based permanent adhesive. For walls and surfaces you want to keep clean, use a removable film such as ORACAL 631 or EnduraMATTE instead.

Outdoor vinyl ships in 12, 15 (punched), 16, 24, 30, 48, 54 and 60 inch widths, in 5, 10, 25 and 50 yard rolls depending on the series. Use the width and length picks at the top of this page to filter the grid.

Standard outdoor sign vinyl is cut, not printed. For printed graphics choose a printable film such as ORAJET 3651 or PrismJET, and add a matching overlaminate for outdoor life.
