SIGNWarehouse Vinyl Cutter Warranty Document
Applicable to all Vinyl Express and MUSE brand cutting plotters.

Warranty Coverage Period:

Unless stated otherwise on the original sales agreement, the product comes with a one-year depot warranty. Depot warranty service indicates that necessary repairs will be undertaken at SIGNWarehouse Inc. facilities. On-site repair or service is not covered under the depot warranty. The warranty period refers to the date your machine was purchased.

Warranty Remedies

If any defects occur within the warranty period, the machine will be repaired or replaced with no charges incurred by the customer for parts or labor.  Warranty repair service requires the customer to ship or deliver the product to SIGNWarehouse Inc. Responsibility for shipping product to SIGNWarehouse for depot warranty service rests exclusively with the customer. Please refer to SIGNWarehouse equipment repair shipping policy document for details. 

Vinyl Cutter Warranty Claims Process

 You may submit a warranty claim by contacting SIGNWarehouse Product Support online at https://signwarehouse.com/pages/contact-us. 

Once you have contacted SIGNWarehouse Product Support, you may request warranty service anytime. SIGNWarehouse must authorize warranty repairs or replacements after consultation with a certified technician. A SIGNWarehouse technician will guide you through the return and repair process by the Repair policy cited above.

If repair is not possible, SIGNWarehouse will replace the covered product. If a replacement is unavailable, a full or partial refund will be issued.

Warranty Non-Transfer

Warranty coverage is granted to the customer who purchases the product from SIGNWarehouse. In the event that the customer resells or otherwise transfers ownership of the covered product, warranty coverage does not transfer to the second or subsequent owners.

Warranty Limitations

Certain failures, problems, or performance issues are not covered under the Vinyl Express or MUSE Cutter Warranty. Non-warranty issues include the following:

  • Defects or damage caused by misuse or neglect.
  • Defects or damages caused by faulty operation contrary to instructions in the user manual.
  • Defects or damages caused by unauthorized discharge, repair, or re-assembly.
  • Damage incurred during shipping.
  • The warranty does not cover damageable spare parts.
  • Defects caused directly or indirectly by use in unapproved applications, such as plotting magnetic media or other roll media without a release liner.
  • The warranty refers only to the machine’s hardware. The software and consumables included are not covered.

â—˜ Consumables not covered under warranty include plotter blades, blade holders, and cutter pad protection strips.
