We've had this rack for a couple of years and it is great. At first we had the chrome rack that mounts to the wall, but when it was full, it started digging into the sheetrock. This floor rack is very sturdy and holds a lot of vinyl, tape, and all other 3" core rolls. Because of the wide bottom, it is well balanced even when it is full.
When I purchased this item I didn't see the vinyl wall mounts and I'm glad. I put very expensive shirt vinyl and sign vinyl on this rack, it is a very sturdy piece of needed equipment. If you fill this unit with vinyl, the investment in the supplies it holds is huge $'s in comparison to the investment in the rack. This unit is worth the money.
I bought this stand for my vinyl. I have shopped around to a couple of other sign suppliers. This same product was well over $200 at many other suppliers. This item is very sturdy and was easy to assemble. I would gladly recommend this item much more over the wall mounted ones. They just seemed to cheap to me.
Went together quick. The welds and bolts are of a higher quality that I anticipated. The only drawback and reason for 4 stars as opposed to 5 is the cost.. It is certainly an investment.. but I didn't feel like drilling holes in the wall for the wall mount ones.. so this was essentially my only option. Glad I got it though.
