Please Note: As with other types of printers regular cleaning maintenance is essential. Failing to perform regular maintenance can result in costly printer repairs. Performing cleanings at the end of each day is essential, especially for the capping station as it prevents a thin film of ink from forming which can inhibit proper capping. Using the recommended cleaning solution and cleaning swabs to perform these tasks will help maintain a healthy printer. Regular maintenance should be performed on a daily basis to ensure printer output doesn’t diminish. 

Printer Compatibility: 

• Compatible with all DTF Stations printers and almost all other DTF printers

Use and Storage Instructions:

• Shelf Life (Unopened): 12 months when stored at 59–77 °F (15–25 °C), sealed and away from direct sunlight.
• Protective Gear: When handling UV DTF ink, always wear gloves, safety goggles, and a lab coat or apron to prevent skin contact and eye exposure.
• Ventilation: Work in a well-ventilated area or use exhaust fans to remove fumes and maintain good air quality. Avoid inhaling fumes or vapors.
• Skin Contact: In case of accidental skin contact, immediately wash the affected area with soap and water. If irritation or redness persists, seek medical attention.
• Eye Contact: If DTF ink comes into contact with your eyes, rinse them with plenty of clean, lukewarm water for at least 15 minutes and seek immediate medical attention.
• Ingestion: Never ingest DTF ink. If accidentally ingested, contact a poison control center or seek medical help immediately.
• Storage: Store in a well-ventilated place in its original, properly labeled container between 41°F to 104°F. Keep away from sunlight. Keep the container closed. Keep out of the reach of children and pets.
• Mixing and Dilution: Do not mix DTF ink with other substances unless explicitly instructed by the manufacturer. Improper mixing can result in hazardous reactions.
• Disposal: Dispose of used ink and containers in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. Avoid pouring ink down drains or into the environment.

Ready to Make the Switch?

Drain Current Ink

1. Use up current ink - To avoid wasting ink, wait until ink levels are as low as possible to switch
2. Using a syringe, pull remaining ink out of each tank and dispose into waste bottle
3. Rinse syringe and repeat step 2 for all applicable ink tanks
4. Perform regular maintenance - Clean with a swab around the print head, capping station, and wiper blade
5. Run "Fill Ink" until ink lines are empty - "Menu" -> "Head Maintain" -> "Fill Ink" -> "Left Head"
6. Close valves or engage clamps as needed to force ink drain 

Fill with Chroma

1. Fill ink tanks with Color Prime® Chroma after shaking thoroughly
2. Run "Fill Ink" - "Menu" -> "Head Maintain" -> "Fill Ink" -> "Left Head"
3. Perform 3 head cleanings back-to-back
