What Is the Origin Point on Graphtec and Q-Series Cutters?
The Origin Point is the position from which the machine will begin to cut when it receives a job command. Every time the cutter is initialized, the carriage should stop in front of the right hand pinch roller. This is the default origin point.
There may be times where you need to have the machine begin cutting in another location on your Graphtec and Q-Series cutters. To do this, you simply use the arrow keys to move the blade to the point from where you want it to begin and press the "Origin" key.
A tip to speed up the process of moving the material and the carriage is to press the Fast key at the same time as pressing any of the arrow keys.
