Proper Loading and Tracking on Graphtec and Q-Series Cutters
Make sure your Graphtec and Q-Series Cutters are on a level surface. An unlevel surface can cause the roll of vinyl to "walk" as it unrolls.
- Pull a few feet of material through the machine making sure that it stays in alignment with the roll of material.
- Line up the RIGHT EDGE of the material with one of the ridges along the front of the machine and raise the lever to lock down the pinch rollers.
- Choose Roll1 to have the machine pull the material back to the front edge.
- As it does this, watch the right edge of the material to make sure it follows along the same line you used when loading the material.
- If it doesn't follow the same line, raise the pinch rollers and try again after adjusting the material.
