When the Q-Series Condition Changes Automatically

Operators of Q-Series cutters may find that, when receiving a job, the machine will override the programmed condition and return to default condition settings. To avoid this, users can change the "Condition Priority" in the background settings of the plotter.

1. With the cutter ready, press the Menu key.
2. Press Next until you see the following screen:
   • Pen Up/Down
   • Background Settings
   • Option 1
   • Option 2
3. Press F2 for "Background Settings".
4. Press Next until you see "Condition Priority."
5. Press F3 to select "Manual."
6. Press Enter to save the setting, then Menu to exit menu mode.
