This post gives step-by-step instructions for installing additional fonts to be used by your LXi and Flexi software.

When looking for fonts online, make sure that they are True Type fonts. The website they are downloaded from should have this information.

  1. Download the font to your desktop. There should be a link on the website you choose to use.
  2. If the font downloads as a compressed (zipped) folder, find the zipped folder on your desktop and double click to open and extract its content.
  3. Once the folder is opened you can drag it (hold down left click) to your desktop.
    • IMPORTANT: Depending on the version of Windows you are running, you may now be able to simply right-click the file to install. If you are not given an option to install when right-clicking the extracted font file, continue to Step 4.
  4. Close out of the folder and go to your computer's "Control Panel."
  5. Double-click the "Fonts" folder. (Note: If you do not see the Fonts folder in Control Panel, change your view settings from "Category" to "Large Icons."
  6. Drag the desired font file from your desktop into the Windows Font folder.
  7. Wait for the installation to complete.
Enjoy using your new font. It can now be found in the LXI/Flexi Program.
