Overview
The MUTOH XpertJet 1641SR is one of two new XPertJet printers introduced in October 2019. The XPertJet 1641SR is a 64 inch printer using MUTOH’s new MS41 eco-solvent ink in a traditional CMYK color configuration. The XPertJet builds on the advances and patented features in MUTOH’s ValueJET printer line and adds advances in media handling, quality control and efficiency. All of these gains are packaged in a sleek new chassis with a more appealing user experience.
XpertJet Features
The XpertJet builds on MUTOH’s patented intelligent interweave algorithm to reduce banding, and is enhanced here by DropMaster2 technology. DropMaster 2 supports automatic bidirectional alignment to produce the efficiency of bidirectional printing with the color consistency of unidirectional printing. The XpertJet prints the test patterns and then scans them and makes any necessary corrections based on precise media thickness and head height settings. No more manual measurements!
XpertJet users will appreciate the new LED platen lighting and backlit user interface. The illuminated platen makes it easy to inspect and manage print quality without removing the media. The elegant new control panel is easy to navigate and puts essential job controls at your fingertips.
MUTOH also enhances productivity with simple but clever improvements to the media handling system. New variable core media scroll brackets are suitable for different core sizes and make loading and removing rolls a breeze.
The XpertJet runs on MUTOH’s next generation MS41 eco-solvent ink. MS41 offers all the benefits of MUTOH Eco Ultra ink with some important improvements. You still have a solvent-based ink that’s rated for up to three years outdoors without lamination. MS41 also offers an expanded color gamut for more vibrant images and improved dot gain for more appealing high-resolution prints. And MS41 has earned Greenguard Gold Certification and is certified for use in wall coverings, so you can offer it to your customers with confidence.
