      Digital Servo Motor
      Don’t be limited with the size of your cuts. The drive motors control the movement of the cutting head across the platen, and the movement of the grit rollers that advance and retract the vinyl. They do so with quiet precision and they support fonts as small as 0.25” tall and accurate tracking on jobs up to 50 feet long.

      Re-cuts are annoying and a waste of time. Our machined grit rollers work in synergy with an advanced digital servo drive to give you precise control of your vinyl from beginning to end.
      Perf-Cutting Technology
      ARMS 8.0 makes contour-cutting printed decals easier than ever. The Q Series has a unique dual-position tool carriage and grooved cutting platen. The perf cut cuts all the way through the release liner without scoring or damaging the platen. You can pop your decals right out of the sheet of vinyl for the end user to peel and stick at their convenience.
      Tangential Emulation
      The standard drag and swivel method works on normal projects but not for thicker materials. Tangential emulation works on all materials and is more versatile with cutting.
      SmartBlade Landing
      The Q Series even allows you to moderate the amount of initial cutting force. You can increase it to power through denser films like 35-mil sandblast stencil, or reduce it to precisely cut thinner media like window tint film.       What’s New?

      The Gen3 Q Series cutters are more productive, efficient, and capable than ever. The Gen3 Q Series has been upgraded with more force, speed, and precision. Plus, we’ve added some popular new features. To keep up with demand in the busiest of sign and enterprise environments, Q Series vinyl cutters now cut at speeds up to 55 inches per second. Force has been increased by 25% to a maximum of 500 grams.

      The ARMS firmware has been updated to provide the most effortless and efficient decal production to date. You can now print registration marks directly to the media edge to reduce material costs as well as segment them for continuous scanning. Use just about any media you can think of from reflective vinyl, laminate glossy film, prismatic metallic film and other non-traditional media and enjoy better alignment for longer print and cut jobs than ever before. And we added a canvas catch basket to keep your cuts clean.

      What’s the maximum cutting force?

      The third generation Vinyl Express Q Series cutters are faster and stronger than ever. The maximum cutting force has been increased by 25% to a maximum of 500 grams. This is more than enough to cut any adhesive-backed film in the sign industry, including sandblast stencil film, reflective film and automotive paint protection film.

      Does it contour-cut?

      Contour-cutting for the production of printed decals is one of the Q Series’ core capabilities. Gen3 Q Series vinyl cutters are enhanced with the latest ARMS 8.0 firmware enabling accurate scanning and cutting on colored and reflective films, and cutting outside printed registration marks.

      Does it perf-cut for pop-out decals?

      Yes. The Q Series’ mission has always included tackling the most demanding vinyl production jobs. This includes precise perforation of vinyl graphics for the production of ‘pop-out’ contour-cut decals. The dual-slot tool carriage and grooved platen facilitate perf-cutting without excessive wear on the hardware or consumables.

      Can it cut window tint and paint protection film?

      One of the Q Series most appealing features is its versatility. The precision engineered into Q Series cutters supports cutting everything from delicate window tint film to challenging paint protection film.
